When you want to tell someone NOT to do something, the steps are quite simple.

1. Conjegate the verb in presnt tense "yo"
2. Remove the ending "o" and replace it with the subjunctive "tú" form
3. Add a "no" before the conjegated verb

Verb Ending	Conjegation
-ar	-es
-er -ir	-as

Some examples-
Dont talk
No hables
Dont walk the dog
No corras el pero

Placement of Pronouns
In the negatative comands, the pronoun is always placed before the conjugated verb.

Informal Negative Commands (Tú)

Step by step

Negative commands are used when telling someone NOT to do something. There are four steps to making a negative command:

1. Conjugate the verb in the yo form (Ex: Hablar --> Hablo)
2. Drop the “o” off the end (Hablo --> Habl)
3. Add on the tú form ending (Habl --> Hablas)
4. And finally, change the ending to the opposite ending. So if your verb has the as ending, change it to es. If it’s es, change it to as. (Hablas --> Hables)

Irregulars

There are four irregular verbs when it comes to negative commands, and there is an easy way to remember them. Just remember DIES, which is what you want to do when forced to conjugate irregular negative commands.
Dar (no des)
Ir (no vayas)
Estar (no estés)
Ser (no seas)

Pronouns

When adding a pronoun, it will go between the no and the command (Ex: Don’t buy it --> No lo compres)
